Health Stores UK: A Natural Partnership
We love independent health shops. They’re where our founder Rivka started the business way back in 1974. Today, independent health retailers bring vitality to high streets, are hubs of their communities, and offer a more sustainable way of shopping. Many of them stock our products and, importantly, our plastic-saving refills. All of this is why we’re especially proud of our new partnership with Health Stores UK.
Health Stores UK was formed in 1931, meaning it’s been going even longer than us! Originally called the National Association of Health Stores, it’s the industry body for independent health retailers in the UK. HSUK is run entirely by independent retailers with hands-on knowledge of the sector, and it currently has 200 active members. We’re thrilled to have become their latest patron, offering sponsorship that will support the growth and success of independent health stores nationwide.
“Independent retailers are at the heart of Faith In Nature,” Sara Fisher, our Sales Director explains. “They’re where Rivka began business almost 50 years ago. Indies have such an important role to play not only in sustainability but in the communities they serve, and we want to do everything we can to support them.
“Health Stores UK are delighted to welcome Faith In Nature to our family of industry-supporting partners,” says Len Glenville, Chairman of HSUK. “It’s great to have such a true pioneer in eco-friendly personal care and green household products on board, and we look forward to working closely with them to help ensure the long-term success of our valuable industry.”
We can’t think of a more perfect pairing than Faith In Nature and HSUK. As Sara puts it:
“It makes complete sense for us to sponsor the only organisation in the UK that supports these unique and important retailers. We’re really looking forward to working with Health Stores UK: sharing knowledge and wisdom, connecting with their members and giving our wonderful independent retail trade the backing it needs.”
