Super nourishing, packed with anti-oxidants and full of Vitamin E – there are lots of reasons avocados are celebrated as a superfood. But did you know that avocado isn’t just great to eat? That goodness can also work wonders for your hair, which is why we’ve recently released a new Avocado Shampoo and Conditioner.

The new shampoo and conditioner are suitable for all hair-types. They’re designed to feed your hair, helping to strengthen and revitalise it, add shine and restore vitality. The hero ingredient is avocado oil, which is rich in healthy fatty acids. We’ve also added other natural powerhouses, including rapeseed, which is prized for its moisturising qualities and helps to promote a healthy scalp.
As with all our products, the Avocado Shampoo and Conditioner are vegan, at least 99% naturally derived and lightly scented with essential oils. And we never use sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) here at Faith in Nature, as it can strip your hair of its natural oils and leave it feeling dull and lacklustre.
From tiny seeds…
Many years ago, Rivka Rose started growing a plant from an avocado stone. Living in one of the busiest cities in the world – New York – meant there weren’t many opportunities for Rivka to immerse herself in nature. That little plant on her windowsill was one way Rivka could indulge her love of nature and goes to show that anyone, whether they’re in a country cottage or a city centre apartment, can be inspired by nature. After all, Rivka’s love of nature led to her founding Faith in Nature and we’re now celebrating our 45th year.
Homemade avocado hair mask
If you want to add an extra boost to your haircare routine, why not try a weekly hair mask? Mash up one ripe banana, one avocado and a couple of teaspoons of olive or rapeseed oil. (Halve the quantities if you have short hair.) Spread the mixture over your hair, leave it to work its magic for 15 minutes and then rinse. Follow with the Avocado Shampoo and Conditioner.
