Just how do you stay fresh in the desert?

When Barbara Cox, CEO of the award-winning, healthy meal delivery company Nutrichef volunteered to undertake a 100 mile trek across the Sahara to raise money for the ’Help the Heroes’ campaign, she knew that it would present some unique challenges. In her own words, this is how she coped with one of them.

“When I took on the 100 mile trek one of my worries was…how do I shower! “Well you don’t!” The organiser said.So I set out to find a company who could help with my hygiene needs but stayed with my principles of non-toxic and earth friendly.Faith in Nature ticked all the boxes! I used the Fem Wipes and Body Wipes for the 5 days that I was trekking. I was amazed how they tackled the grittiest of sand and sweat, yet were gentle on my skin. Tackling the Sahara ailments made my skin dryer than normal but the Fem wipes couldn’t have been more perfect for the job! We had 6ft2 ex-SAS soldiers loving the “Fem Wipes”, so they’re not just for Women! Thank you so much again for supplying the whole Pilgrim Bandits team with wipes, they were very valuable currency towards the end of the trek. Thank you so much, they need to be in every gym bag.”
