As a long time supporter of the BUAV (British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection) Brian Cowburn, Faith’s Business Development Manager, was delighted to be invited to a parliamentary reception at Westminster on 2nd June when it was announced that all four main political parties had agreed to include a pledge to end animal testing for household products at the next election. As you can see elsewhere on this site, Clear Spring our household cleansing range is already approved by the Humane Household Products Standard (HHPS) Leaping Bunny scheme, but we are, of course, delighted to give our whole hearted support to this campaign. On 14th May, also in London, Faith’s Director Aaron Rose attended the first Fairtrade Foundation Cosmetics Forum called to investigate the labelling of cosmetics and personal care products with the Fairtrade logo. Although in its early stages, the discussions proved very positive and we look forward to working with the Fairtrade Foundation on developing this initiative.

The Natural Beauty Yearbook is the authoritative periodical covering our industry, and in the 2009 issue just published, Brian Cowburn our Business Development Manager appears at number 17 in a Who’s Who of the top people in our industry.
