Sometimes also known as ‘red bush’, Rooibos is a member of the legume family. Popular in its native South Africa for making a herbal tea, the health giving benefits of Rooibos have recently come to the fore due to its proven high level of anti-oxidants. Research has also indicated that the plant could also help with dermatological problems, which is consistent with its traditional medicinal usage.
