Ethics

The dictionary defines ethics as,

'The rules or standards governing the conduct of a person or the members of a profession'

For over 30 years we have built our company on the basis of ethical business practices. We believe we know what customers expect of us and our products, and we strive to meet their expectations. We acknowledge we have a duty of care and responsibility to do the right thing, and it is a responsibility we do not take lightly. We have set ourselves high standards, and they will not be compromised.

Many consumers are concerned about subjects such as animal testing, parabens, third world trade and others, and we have attempted to address these issues honestly, and objectively, under Ingredient Issues in the Products section of this website. Others, quite rightly, want to know more about the materials used in the products they are purchasing, and the Ingredients section should help to explain a little more about their uses and properties.

We appreciate that in the future new challenges will arise, and different demands will be placed on our business. It would be foolish to attempt an explanation of how we will meet these unknown challenges, but rest assured we will address each one on its merits working within the standards that have served us so well, for so long.

Finally, we realize we could tell you whatever we liked about ourselves and our products, after all it is our website! That's why we are proud to receive the independent accolades and admiration of our peers, as shown in both the Awards and Reviews section of this website.
